Grounding Activity

We believe in learning through doing, through experience. At every Urban Retreat we include a surprise activity to help us engage with the theme. Past activities included collaging, massages, crafts, and journaling.

Meet your Hosts

Our priority is creating a safe space for self-reflection, personal growth, and cultivating a sense of belonging for all.

  • Allison is a familiar face at many Baltimore yogi favorites including Sedona House, Pilates House, Maryland Club, and Corepower Yoga. Allison integrates humor, creativity, and passion into every class.

  • Tereza’s passion is at the intersection of movement and mental health. She is a psychotherapist at Thrive Therapy Maryland and teaches yoga in the Fells Point area.

  • Yoga Mat, Water Bottle, Vinyasa flow outfit, comfy change of clothes, and a journal.

  • Light snacks, hot tea, and water are included. Props for restorative practice will be provided.

  • We will be capping this event at 14 people.

  • No experience needed! All classes are taught to be accessible to yoga beginners. We always encourage taking breaks and adjusting teacher’s instructions to suit your needs.
